하나님의 구원계획(God's plan of salvation) 완결편

좋은 날씨군요

Nice weather.

좋은 나라군요

Nice country.

너무나 아름답군요

So beautiful.

누가 세상을 만들었을까?

Who made the world?

누구라고 생각하십니까 / 이 모든 것을 만든 사람이

Who do you think / made all these?

내 생각에는 / 하나님이 세상을 만드셨어요.

I think / God made the world.

하나님은 남자와 여자를 만드셨어요

God made a man and a woman.

하나님은 그들에게 이름을 지어주셨어요 / 아담과 이브라고

God named them / Adam and Eve.

왜 그들을 만드셨을까요

Why did he make them?

사랑하고 / 사랑 받으려고

To love / and to be loved.

하나님은 원하셨어요 / 그들을 사랑하시기를

God wanted / to love them.

하나님께서는 원하셨어요 / 그들이 / 자기를 사랑하기를

God wanted / them / to love him.

하나님은 원하셨어요 / 이 사랑이 / 영원히 지속되기를

God wanted / this love / to go forever.

그래서 하나님은 정원을 만드셨어요 / 그 들을 위해서

So God made a garden / for them.

하나님은 그들을 축복하시며 / 말씀하셔요,

God blessed them / and said,

"생육하고 번성하여 / 땅에 충만하라

"Have many children, / fill the earth,

지배하라 / 세상에 있는 모든 것을

and rule over / everything in the world."

그들은 행복하게 살았습니다

They lived happily

그들이 하나님께 죄를 지을 때 까지는

until they sinned against God.

그들이 무슨 잘못을 한 걸까요?

What did they do wrong?

그들은 과일을 먹었어요 / 하나님이 그들에게 말씀하신 / 먹지 말라고

They ate the fruit / God told them / not to eat.

어떻게 그런 일이 일어났을까요?
How did it happen?

이것이 일어난 일이에요
This is the story

하루는 / 하나님이 남자에게 명령하셨어요,
One day / God commanded the man,

"너는 먹어도 좋다 / 어떤 나무에서든 / 정원에
"You are free to eat / from any tree / in the garden;

하지만 너는 먹어서는 안 된다 / 선악과 나무에서
but you must not eat / from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil,

네가 그것을 먹을 땐
for when you eat of it

너는 정녕 죽을 것이기 때문이다.
you will surely die."

그러나 뱀이 여인에게 다가와서 / 말하기를,
But a serpent came to the woman / and said,

너는 정녕 죽지 않을 것이다.
"You will not surely die,"

뱀은 여자에게 말했다
the serpent said to the woman.

"왜냐하면 하나님은 아시기 때문이다 / 네가 그것을 먹을 때
"For God knows that / when you eat of it,

너의 눈이 떠져서
your eyes will be opened,

네가 하나님과 같이 될 것임을
and you will be like God,

선과 악을 아는"
knowing good and evil."

여자가 보았을 때
When the woman saw that

그 나무의 열매가
the fruit of the tree was

먹음직스러웠고
good for food

눈에 보기에 좋았다
and pleasing to the eye,

또한 탐스러 보였다 / 지혜를 얻는데
and also desirable / for gaining wisdom,

그녀는 하나를 따서 / 그것을 먹었다
she took one / and ate it.

그녀는 또한 과실을 주었다 / 그녀의 남편에게
She also gave one / to her husband,

그녀가 함께 있었던 / 남자는 그것을 먹었다.
who was with her, / and he ate it.

그러자 그들의 두 눈이
Then the eyes of both of them

밝아졌고 / 그들은 깨달았다
were opened, / and they realized

그들이 벌거벗었음을
they were naked;

그래서 그들은 무화과 잎을 함께 엮어서
so they sewed fig leaves together

그들을 가리는 옷을 만들었다 / 그들 자신을 위해
and made coverings / for themselves.

이렇게 하여 / 그들은 하나님께 죄를 지었습니다
In this way / they sinned against God.

하나님은 이러한 사실을 아셨고 / 그들을 벌하셨습니다
God knew this, / and punished them

주 하나님은 여자에게 말씀하셨다,
The Lord God said to the woman,

"내가 크게 증대시킬 것이다 / 너의 고통을
"I will greatly increase / your pain

네가 출산할 때
when you give birth.

너는 큰 고통을 당할 것이다
You will be in pain

아이들을 출산할 때
when you have children.

너는 갈망할 것이다 / 너의 남편을
You will long for / your husband.

그리고 그는 너를 다스릴 것이다."
and he will rule over you."

주 하나님은 아담에게 말씀하셨다,
The Lord God said to Adam,

"내가 저주를 둘 것이다 / 땅에
"I am putting a curse / on the ground

내가 저지른 일로 인해
because of what you did.

너의 평생 동안
All the days of your life

너는 열심히 일을 해야만 할 것이다
you will have to work hard

식량을 얻기 위해 / 땅으로부터
to get food / from the ground.

너는 만들어졌다 / 흙으로부터
You were made / out of the ground.

그리고 흙으로 돌아갈 것이다.
And you will return to it."

하나님은 그들에게 말씀하셨다 / 정원을 떠 나라고
God told them / to leave the garden.

그리고 그들에게 명령하셨다 / 돌아오지 말라고
and ordered them / not to come back.

당신도 알다시피 / 내가 처음 들었을 때 / 이 이야기를
You know, / when I first heard / this story,

나는 이해할 수 없었어요
I couldn’t understand it

“나는 알아요 / 그들은 나쁜 짓 한 번 한걸
"Well, I know / they did a bad thing.

그들은 그 과일을 먹었습니다 / 그 들이 먹어서는 안 되는
They ate the fruit / they must not eat.

그것은 잘못된 것입니다 / 그들이 / 그런 짓을 한 건
It was wrong / of them / to do that.

그들은 그런 짓을 하면 안됐었습니다
They shouldn't have done it.

하지만, 그렇게 큰 죄입니까 / 그런 처벌을 받아야 할 만큼
But, is it that big a sin / to be punished like that?

그들은 단지 먹었습니다 / 한 두 개의 열매를
They just ate / one or two of the fruit.

10개도 아니고 / 20개도 아니고 / 수 백 개도 아닙니다.
Not ten, / not twenty, / not hundreds.

수없이 많은 사람들이 있습니다 / 저 밖에 / 해먹는 / 트럭으로
Well, there are so many people /out there / who steal /by the truck.

그 처벌은 너무 가혹해요.
That punishment is too harsh.

그것은 너무 혹독합니다.
That’s too severe.

하나님이 그렇게 쩨쩨하신 분인가요?
Is God so stingy?

내 생각에는 하나님은 좀더 관대하셔야 합니다 / 그 것보다
Well, I guess / God should be more generous / than that.

하나님은 가지고 계십니다 / 모든 것을 / 세상에 / 어쨌든
God owns / all the things / in the world / anyway.

내 생각에는 / 단지 경고나 꾸짖음 정도면 충분 했을 것 같아요
I think / just a warning or scolding was enough.

저라면 말했을 거에요 / 괜찮아 / 그저 다시는 그렇게 하지 말아라
I'd say / "That's okay. / Just don't do it again.

한 목사님이 그것을 설명해 주셨습니다 / 저에게
One pastor explained it / to me,

그게 문제가 아닙니다 / 얼마나 많이 그들이 먹었는지
It's not the issue / how many they ate.

그게 문제입니다 / 그들이 누구의 말을 들었는지
It's the issue / who they listened to,

그게 문제입니다 / 그들이 누구를 신뢰했는지
It's the issue / who they trusted.

그게 문제입니다 / 그들이 하나님을 신뢰했는지 / 그렇지 않은지
It's the issue / whether they trusted God / or not.

그 들은 하나님의 말씀을 듣지 않고 / 사탄의 말을 들었습니다
They didn't listen to God / but to Satan.

그들은 하나님을 신뢰하지 않고 / 사탄을 신뢰했습니다
They didn't trust God / but trusted Satan.

그것은 사탄이었습니다 / 그들이 신뢰했던 건
It was Satan / that they trusted.

그것은 사탄이었습니다 / 그들이 말을 들었던 것은
It was Satan / that they listened to.

그들은 내던져 버렸습니다 / 하나님에 대한 그들의 믿음을
They threw away / their faith in God,

그리고 사단을 쫓았습니다
and followed Satan.

그들이 사단을 따라간 순간
The moment they followed Satan,

그들은 보좌를 내 주었습니다 / 사단에게
they gave the throne / to Satan.

보좌는 왕의 의자입니다
Throne is King’s chair.

사단은 그들의 왕이 되었습니다.
Satan became their king.

그들은 사단의 종이 되었습니다
They became Satan's slave.

그 순간 / 그들의 죄 많은 인생이 시작되었습니다
At that moment, / their sinful life started.

그들이 원하든 / 그렇지 않든 간에
Whether they want it / or not,

그들은 하나님께 죄를 짓습니다 / 점점 더 / 매일같이
they sin against God / more and more / everyday.

왜일까요? 왜냐하면 그들의 몸과 영혼 모두가 / 지배를 받기 때문입니다 / 사탄에 의해서
Why? / Because their whole body and soul / are controlled / by Satan.

그것은 마치 나무와 같습니다
It's just like a tree

어떤 종류의 열매를 / 맺느냐 하는 것은 / 달려있습니다 / 어떤 종류의 뿌리를 / 그 나무가 가지고 있는지
What kind of fruit / it bears(makes) / depends on / what kind of root / it has.

그 나무가 악한 뿌리를 가지고 있다면, / 악한 열매를 맺습니다.
If it has an evil root, / it bears an evil fruit.

만약에 좋은 뿌리를 가지고 있다면, / 좋은 열매를 맺습니다.
If it has a good root, / it bears a good fruit.

너무나 많은 죄와 범죄들이 존재합니다
There are so many sins and crimes.

강도 / 도둑질 / 간통 / 살인 / 마약 거래 / 강간
robbery, / theft, / adultery, / murder, / drug dealing,/ rape..

하지만 그 죄들은 나옵니다 / 단지 한 뿌리에서
But they come / from just one root.

그 뿌리가 무엇입니까?
What is the root?

그것은 마음, / 지배를 받고 있는 / 사탄에 의해
The mind / which is controlled / by Satan.

우리는 그것을 부릅니다 / 죄성이라고
We call it / sinful nature.

이러한 죄성으로부터 / 온갖 종류의 범죄들과 / 온갖 종류의 죄악들이 / 나옵니다.
From this sinful nature, / all kinds of crimes, / all kinds of sins / come out.

당신이 사탄을 따라가는 그 순간
The moment you follow Satan,

사탄은 들어갑니다 / 당신의 마음속으로
Satan comes / into your mind.

그리고 앉습니다 / 운전석에
And sits / in the driver's seat

그리고 당신을 몰고 갑니다 / 자기 좋을 대로
and drives you / as it likes.

사탄은 당신을 통제합니다
Satan controls you.

당신은 시작합니다 / 생각하기를 / 사탄의 방식대로
You start / to think / in Satan's way.

그리고 당신은 봅니다 / 사탄의 눈을 통해서
And see / through Satan's eyes,

듣습니다 / 사탄의 귀를 통해서
hear / through Satan's ears,

말합니다 / 사탄의 입을 통해서
speak / through Satan's mouth.

그리고 당신은 죄를 짓습니다 / 하나님께 / 매일 / 매 순간
And you sin / against God / every day, / every moment.

그것이 바로 죄성입니다.
That's the sinful nature.

이제 다시 본론으로 되돌아갑시다
Now back to the story.

일단 그들이 오염되자 / 사탄에 의해
Once they were contaminated / by Satan,

그들은 살수 없었습니다 / 하나님과 함께
they couldn't live / with God.

왜냐하면 그들은 영적으로 더러워졌기 때문입니다.
Because they were spiritually dirty.

그들은 정원을 떠났습니다
They left the garden.

그 때 이후로 계속/그들은 세상에서 살았습니다/사단에 의해서 지배를 당하는
From then on, / they lived in the world / ruled by Satan.

그들이 바로 우리입니다

They are us.

왜 그들이 우리입니까?
Why are they us?

죄성이 전해 내려옵니다 / 세대를 걸쳐
The sinful nature came down / through generations,

죄성은 전해져 내려옵니다 / 아담으로부터 그의 자손들에게
It came down / from Adam to his children.

그리고 계속해서 그들의 자손들에게 / 계속해서 그들의 자손들에게 / 계속해서 그들의 자손들에게
And on to their children, / on to their children, / on to their children,

그리고 마침내 우리들에게 전해져 왔습니다.
and finally to us.

그래서 우리는 죄성을 가지고 있습니다
So we have sinful nature.

우리가 태어난 날부터
From the day we are born,

사탄은 우리를 가르칩니다
Satan teaches us.

사탄은 우리를 가르칩니다 / 사고하도록 / 사탄의 방식대로
It teaches us / to think / in its way,

행동하도록 / 사탄의 방식대로
to act / in its way.

사탄은 우리에게 줍니다 / 잘못된 목표를 / 추구해야 할
Satan gives us / wrong targets / to go after.

사탄은 우리를 만듭니다 / 생각하도록
The Satan makes us / think,

좋은 대학에 들어가는 것이 / 가장 중요한 일이라고
to enter the good college / is the most important thing,

좋은 회사에 들어가는 것이 / 가장 중요한 일이라고
to enter the good company / is the most important thing,

보다 더 높은 지위로 올라가는 것이 / 가장 중요한 일이라고
to go up the higher position / is the most important thing,

더 많은 돈을 버는 것이 / 가장 중요한 일이라고
to earn more money / is the most important thing,

결혼을 하는 것이
to get married is the most important thing.

높은 점수를 얻는 것 / 토익 시험에서 / 가장 중요한 일이라고
to get a high score / in Toeic / is the most important thing.

그것들은 잘못된 목표들입니다
They are wrong targets.

사탄은 우리를 바쁘게 만듭니다 / 잘못된 목표들을 추구하도록
Satan makes us busy / to go after wrong targets.

더 많은 돈을 우리가 가질수록, / 우리는 더 행복합니다
The more money we have, / the happier we are.

더 많은 권력을 우리가 가질수록, / 우리는 더 행복합니다
The more power we have, / the happier we are.

우리가 더 예쁠수록, / 우리는 더 행복합니다.
The prettier we are, / the happier we are.

더 큰집을 우리가 가질수록, / 우리는 더 행복합니다.
The bigger house we have, / the happier we are.

더 큰 차를 우리가 가질수록, / 우리는 더 행복합니다.
The bigger car we have, / the happier we are.

사탄은 우리를 바쁘게 만듭니다, / 추구하도록 / 잘 못된 목표들을
Satan makes us busy / running after / the wrong targets.

사탄은 우리에게 가르칩니다 / 잘 못된 것들을
Satan teaches us / wrong things.

성공하려면 / 우리는 다른 사람들을 짓밟거나 / 파멸 시켜야 한다고
To be successful, / we must step on others / or destroy them.

누군가가 만약 우리에게 상처를 준다면, / 우리는 되갚아야 한다고
If somebody hurts us, / we must pay it back.

복수를 하는 것이야 말로 / 가장 용감한 일이라고 / 사내 대장부가 해야 할
To revenge / is the bravest thing / a man should do.

우리가 주인이라고 / 우리 인생의
We are the owner / of our life.

우리는 권리를 가지고 있다고 / 무엇이든지 할 수 있는 / 우리가 원하는
We have the right / to do anything / we want.

우리는 무엇이든지 할 수 있다고 / 우리가 원하는
We can do anything / we want.

우리가 운전사라고 / 우리 자신의 인생의
We are the drivers / of our own lives.

하지만 그것이 바로 사탄입니다 / 그 자리에 앉아 있는 것은
But It is Satan / that is in the seat!

사탄은 우리의 마음을 통제합니다
Satan controls our minds.

사탄은 우리의 마음을 혼란 시킵니다
Satan confuses our minds.

사탄은 우리를 이끕니다 / 알지 못하도록 / 무엇이 좋은 것이며 / 무엇이 나쁜 것인지를
Satan leads us / not to know / what is good / and what is bad.

사탄은 우리를 이끕니다 / 알지 못하도록 / 우리가 옳은 일을 하고 있는지 / 잘 못된 일을 하고 있는지
Satan leads us / not to know / whether we're doing right / or wrong.

사탄은 우리를 이끕니다 / 죄를 짓도록
Satan leads us / to sin.

사탄은 우리를 가르칩니다 / 죄를 짓도록
Satan teaches us / to sin.

사탄은 우리를 교육시킵니다 / 죄를 짓도록.
Satan educates us / to sin.

우리는 죄를 짓습니다 / 하나님께 매일
We sin / against God everyday.

세월이 흘러감에 따라, / 당신은 늙고, / 죽습니다
As time goes by, / you get old, / you die,

당신은 섭니다, / 하나님 앞에, / 심판대 앞에
You stand / in front of God, / in front of the judging table.

하나님은 당신에게 물으십니다 / “너는 살아있는 동안 무엇을 해 놓았는가?”
God asks you, / "What have you done in life?"

당신은 무슨 말을 하시겠습니까?
What're you gonna say?

전 좋은 대학에 다녔습니다
"Well, I went to a good college,

좋은 회사에 다녔습니다
I went to a good company,

돈을 많이 벌었습니다
I made a lot of money,

좋은 차를 샀습니다
I boutht a good car,

큰 집을 가지고 있었습니다 / 다섯 개의 화장실이 딸린
I had a big house / with five bathrooms.

자, 하나님께서는 뭐라고 말씀하실까요?
Now, what is God gonna say?

“악하고 게으른 종아 / 너는 아무것도 한 게 없구나 / 죄 밖에는
"You, a wicked, lazy servant. / You have done nothing / but sin.

지옥에 가거라 / 이제부터 쭉 / 사탄이 너를 돌보아 줄 것이다.”
Go to hell. / From now on, / Satan will take care of you."

근데 / 죄를 짓는 것은 / 죽는 것입니다
You know, / "To sin / is to die."

성경은 말합니다 / 로마서 6장 23절에서
It says / in Romans chapter 6 verse 23,

“죄의 삯은 / 사망이다.”
"The wages of sin / is death."

당신은 다음과 같이 말할지 모릅니다
You might say,

근데, 전 두렵지 않아요 / 죽는 것이
"Well, I'm not afraid / of dying,

나는 상관 안 해요 / 내가 죽어도
I don't care / if I die,

죽으면 모든 게 끝입니다 / 결국에는
that's the end of everything / after all."

근데, 그게 끝이 아닙니다
Well, that's not the end.

무언가 더 있습니다
There's something more.

당신이 죽을 때 / 죄를 지은 채로 / 당신은 심판을 받게 되고 / 지옥으로 보내집니다
When you die / with sin, / you are judged, / and sent to hell.

아주 뜨겁습니다 / 그곳엔
It's very hot in there.

성경은 말하고 있습니다 / 히브리서 9장 27절에서
The Bible says / in Hebrews chapter 9 verse 27,

사람은 운명되어져 있습니다 / 한번 죽기로
"Man is destined / to die once,

그리고 그 후에
and after that,

심판을 직면하게 되도록.
to face judgment."

심판은 어떤 모습일까요?
What is the judgment like?

요한 계시록 20장 11절에서 12절은 말하고 있습니다
Revelation twenty, eleven to twelve says,

나는 죽은 자들을 보았습니다
“I saw the dead,

크고, 작은
great and small

서있는 것을 / 보좌 앞에
standing / before the throne.

그리고 책들이 펼쳐져 있었습니다.
and books were opened.

또 하나의 책이 펼쳐져 있었습니다
And another book was opened,

그것은 생명 책입니다
which is the book of life.

죽은 자들은 심판을 받았습니다
The dead were judged

그들이 무엇을 했는가에 의해서
according to what they had done

그 책들에 기록된 대로
as recorded in the books

누군가의 이름이 / 발견되지 않았다면
If anyone's name / was not found

써있는 채로 / 생명책에
written / in the book of life,

그는 던져졌습니다
he was thrown

불못속으로
into the lake of fire."

당신은 느낍니다 / 본능적으로
You feel / by instinct

당신이 지옥에 갈 수 있다는 것을
that you can go to hell.

당신은 그게 두렵습니다.
You're afraid of that.

당신은 원하지 않습니다 / 지옥에 가는 것을
You don't want / to go to hell.

당신은 당신의 이름이 기록되어 있길 원합니다 / 생명책에
You want your name written / in the book of life.

당신은 좋은 일들을 많이 합니다
You do good things.

당신은 가난한 사람들을 도와줍니다
You help the poor.

당신은 노숙자들을 도와줍니다
You help the homeless.

당신은 독거노인들을 도와줍니다
You help the old living alone.

당신은 고아원들을 방문합니다
You visit orphanages

당신은 양로원들을 방문합니다 / 선물을 가지고
You visit homes for the aged / with gifts.

당신은 돈을 기부합니다 / 자선단체에
You donate money / to charity.

당신은 명상을 합니다
You do meditation.

당신은 단전호흡을 합니다
You do belly breathing.

당신은 금식을 합니다
You do fasting.

당신은 종교적인 일들을 합니다
You do religious things.

그러나 그것들은 충분하지 않습니다 / 당신을 구원하기에는
But those are not good enough / to save you.

그것들은 충분하지 않습니다 / 제거하기에 / 당신의 죄성을
Those are not good enough /to get rid of / your sinful nature.

당신이 무슨 일을 하든 간에 / 당신은 지옥으로 향해 갑니다 / 매일 같이
Whatever you do, / you go to hell / day by day.

우리가 무슨 일을 하든 간에 / 우리는 빠져 나올 수 없습니다 / 이 덫에서
Whatever we do, / we can't get out / of this trap.

자, 어떻게 하면 우리가 이것에서 벗어날 수 가 있을까요
Now, how can we get out of this?

옛날에는, / 방법이 하나 있었습니다. / 우리가 죄 사함을 받을 수 있는
In the old days,/ there was a way / we could be forgiven.

그것은 속죄제입니다.
It was "sin offering".

레위기에 따르면
According to Leviticus,

당신이 죄를 지었을 때
When you sinned,

당신은 소나 염소 혹은 양을 데리고 옵니다
you bring a bull or a goat or a sheep

흠이 없는
without defect /

회막의 입구로
to the entrance of the Tent of Meeting.

당신은 손을 놓습니다 / 그것의 머리 위에
You put your hand / on its head

그리고 그 동물을 죽입니다.
And kill the animal.

그런 다음 제사장이 피를 흩뿌립니다
and the priest sprinkle the blood

제단 둘레를 향하여
against the sides of the altar

그리고 희생물을 자릅니다 / 토막으로
and cut the sacrifice / into pieces

그리고 그것들을 태웁니다 / 장작불 위에
and burn them / on the wood fire

그러면 당신의 죄가 사해집니다.
and your sin is forgiven.

매번 당신이 하나님께 죄를 지을 때마다 / 당신은 이것을 합니다.
Every time you sin against God, / you do this.

이렇게 해서 / 그 특정한 죄가 사해집니다.
In this way, / that specific sin is forgiven,

하지만 당신 안에 있는 죄성은 / 여전히 남아있습니다.
But the sinful nature inside you / still remains.

어떻게 하면 우리가 제거할 수 있을까요 / 이 죄성을
How can we get rid of / this sinful nature?

하나님은 계획을 가지고 계셨습니다 / 죄성의 뿌리를 죽일
God had a plan / to kill the root of the sinful nature.

그게 바로 ‘하나님의 구원 계획’ 입니다.
That is "God's plan of salvation."

하나님은 자신의 외아들을 보내셨습니다 / 우리를 구원하시려고
God sent his one and only son / to save us.

하나님께서는 그 외아들을 내 놓으셨습니다. / 희생제물로서 / 엄청난 속죄제를 위해
God gave him out / as a sacrifice / for a great "sin offering".

로마서 3장 25절은 말합니다
Romans 3:25 says,

하나님은 그를 주셨습니다 / 희생제물로 / 우리의 죄값을 치르려고
"God gave Him / as a sacrifice / to pay for sins.

그래서 그는 죄를 용서해 주십니다 / 그의 보혈을 믿는 사람들의
So He forgives the sins / of those who have faith in His blood.

그 분의 이름은 예수 그리스도이십니다
His name is Jesus Christ.

그분은 잉태되셨습니다 / 성령님에 의해
He was conceived / by the Holy Spirit,

동정녀 마리아게서 나시고
born of the virgin Mary,

본디오 빌라도에게 고난을 당하셨습니다.
suffered under Pontius Pilate.

그는 우리의 모든 죄를 자신에게 뒤집어 쓰시고
He put all our sin on himself,

십자가에 못박혀 / 죽음을 당하시고 / 매장되셨습니다.

He descended into hell,

The third day he rose again / from the dead,

그분은 하늘로 올라가시사
he ascended into heaven,

우편에 앉아 계십니다 / 전능하신 아버지 하나님의
and sits on the right hand / of God, the Father almighty.

이렇게 함으로써 / 그는 우리를 깨끗케 하셨습니다 / 우리의 죄를
By doing this, He cleaned us / of our sins.

그의 보혈이 우리의 죄를 씻어냈습니다.
His blood washed away our sins.

그의 보혈이 우리를 자유롭게 해주셨습니다 / 사탄으로부터
His blood set us free from Satan.

그의 보혈에 의해 / 우리는 구원을 받았습니다
By his blood / we were saved.

왜 하나님께서 그렇게 하셨을까요?
Why did God do that?

왜냐하면 그 분은 우리를 사랑하시기 때문입니다.
Because he loves us.

예수님은 말씀하십니다 / 요한복음 3장 16절에서
Jesus says / in John 3:16,

하나님이 이처럼 세상을 사랑하사
"God so loved the world

그의 외아들을 주셨으니,
that he gave his one and only Son,

누구든지 그를 믿는 자마다
that whoever believes in him

멸망치 않고
shall not perish

영생을 얻게 하려고.
but have eternal life."

No one comes to the Father / except through me."

마태복음 22장 36-40절은 말합니다
Matthew 22:36-40 says,

선생이여, 어떤 것이 가장 위대한 계명입니까 / 율법에서
"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment / in the Law?"

예수님은 대답하셨습니다
Jesus replied:

“주 너의 하나님을 사랑하라
"'Love the Lord your God

너의 모든 가슴을 다하여
with all your heart and

너의 영혼을 다하여
with all your soul and

너의 마음을 다하여
with all your mind.'

이것이 첫째이며 / 가장 위대한 계명이니라.
This is the first / and greatest commandment.

둘째는 그것과 같은 것이니
And the second is like it:

네 이웃을 사랑하라 / 네 자신처럼
'Love your neighbor / as yourself.'

예루살렘에서
in Jerusalem,

Go into all the world

그리고 복음을 전파하라
and preach the good news

만물에게
to all creation.

누구든지 믿고 / 세례를 받으면
Whoever believes / and is baptized

구원을 얻을 것이다.

but whoever does not believe

심판을 받게 될 것이다
will be condemned.

그들은 귀신을 쫓아내며;
they will drive out demons;

they will pick up snakes / with their hands;

그 들이 독을 마실 때,
and when they drink deadly poison,

독이 그들에게 전혀 해를 가하지 못할 것이다
it will not hurt them at all;

그들은 그들의 손을 올릴 것이다 / 병자들에게
they will place their hands / on sick people,

그러면 병자들이 나음을 얻으리라."

and they will get well."
