And we said in our marriage God will always get paid first. We may be in debt to other people but we will not be in debt to God. And every time you tithe, it says three things. It expresses your gratitude to God for past blessing. It shows that God is first place in your life today and expresses faith in God will take care of you in the future. At the end of our first year of marriage, we raised our tithe to eleven percent. And at the end of the second year, we raised it to twelve percent. And at the end of our third year of marriage, we raised it to thirteen percent. And each year we would raise our giving back to God by at least one　 percent or more. Today after thirty one　 years of marriage, we give away ninety percent and we live on ten percent. Every time I give, my heart grows bigger. Every time I give, it breaks the grip of materialism in my life. Every time I give, it makes me more like Jesus. You cannot be like Jesus until you learn to be generous. Now why am I telling you this story? Because God has blessed Korea with great wealth. God says, "I did not bless you for your own benefit. I blessed you to be a blessing to others."
