Genesis chapter two, verse nineteen. We are under this heading. ‘One Lord, one Love’, building intimate marriages. I’m told that an angel came to Adam, before Eve was ever created. And said to Adam, “Adam, I have a proposition for you. We are going to craft for you an individual.” He said, “What?” “An individual. Someone like you but different.” “Oh, what will it be like?” “Well, it’s going to be a she.” “Well, what will she do?” “Well, when you come in from tending the garden, she will be there at the door, beautifully adorned. And she will smell so sweet. She will open her arms and give you a big hug, and bring you in. And she will kiss you.
She will bring (you) a newspaper to you. And she will bring some slippers for you. And she will massage your shoulders.
And then she will have a wonderful meal there. Afterward she will do the dishes. And then she will just come and sit at, at your feet and look up at you and be ready to do anything you want her to do. He said, “That sounds wonderful. What’s that going to cost me?” Angel said, “That’s gonna cost you a right arm and a leg.” “Oh, what do you think I could get for just a rib?”

한 주님, 한 사랑

친밀한 결혼 생활을 이루어가기

I’m told / that an angel came to Adam,
나는 들었습니다 / 한 천사가 아담에게 왔습니다

before Eve was ever created.
이브가 아예 창조되지도 않았던 그 이전에

and said to Adam,
그리고 아담에게 말했습니다

“Adam, I have a proposition for you.
“아담, 당신을 위한 한 제안이 있습니다

We are going to craft for you
우리는 당신을 위해 만들려고 합니다

an individual.”
한 사람을

He said, “What?”
그는 말했습니다. “무엇을 말이에요?

“An individual. Someone like you / but different.”
“한 사람. 당신과 같은 사람이지만 / 다른 사람

“Oh, what will it be like?”
“오, 그게 어떤 것이죠?

“Well, it’s going to be a she.”
“그것은 여자가 될 것입니다”

“Well, what will she do?”
여자가 무엇을 할 것이죠?

“Well, when you come in / from tending the garden,
당신이 들어올 때 / 정원을 돌보는 일을 마치고

she will be there at the door,

그녀는 거기 문 앞에 있을 것입니다

beautifully adorned.
아름답게 치장을 한 상태로

And she will smell so sweet.
그녀는 아주 좋은 냄새를 풍길 것입니다

She will open her arms
그녀는 팔을 벌리고

and give you a big hug,
당신을 크게 껴안을 것입니다

and bring you in .
그리고 당신을 안으로 모셔 들일 것입니다

And she will kiss you.
그런 다음 당신에게 키스를 해 줄 것입니다

She will bring (you) a newspaper to you.
그녀는 당신에게 신문을 가져다 줄 것입니다

And she will bring some slippers for you.
그리고 당신을 위해 슬리퍼를 가져다 줄 것입니다

And she will massage your shoulders.
그녀는 당신의 어깨를 마사지를 해줄 것입니다

And then she will have a wonderful meal there.
그리고 그녀는 아주 훌륭한 음식을 거기에다 차려 놓을 것입니다

Afterward / she will do the dishes.
그 이후에는 / 설거지를 할 것입니다

And then she will just come / and sit at, at your feet
그런 다음 그저 와서 / 당신의 발 밑에 앉습니다

and look up at you
그리고 당신을 위로 바라봅니다

and be ready / to do anything
그리고 준비가 되 있습니다 / 무엇이든지 할

you want her to do.
당신이 그녀가 해 주길 원하는

He said, / “That sounds wonderful.
그는 말했습니다 / “정말 멋지게 들리는군요

What’s that going to cost me?”
그거 비용이 얼마나 듭니까?”

Angel said,
천사가 말하기를,

“That’s gonna cost you a right arm and a leg.”
“그것은 대가로 오른 팔과 다리 하나가 듭니다

“Oh, what do you think / I could get / for just a rib?”
“오, 뭐라고 생각하세요 / 내가 얻을 수 있는 게 / 그저 갈비 하나로?
